My?? Dog

I was surfing this morning on MSN and the home page had a link to "Best pet for you by zodiac sign." So I had to see what they thought the "best pet" for me would be. Hummm, a Bernese Mountain Dog. They are beautiful, that's for sure, but I'm not sure it would fit into my lifestyle at the moment.

According to Pets 911, they are very loving - wonder if they like cats?

The eagle has landed....

across the street. I'm working from home today and I see this enormous bird land across the street. The crows are going wild - not happy at all. I take a closer look & grab my camera. One shot is what I got.

I called the Woodland Park Zoo and asked if any of their raptors were missing. Nope, all where they should be. I was informed that there were a few mating pairs just north of us. This juvenile (you can tell, because the white head feathers have not come in yet) came a few miles south to find a meal. I was told those feathers don't come in for a couple of years. I have never seen an eagle in our neighborhood in the 11 years I've lived here. A few stray ducks from the two ponds nearby, but never an eagle.

This really made my day....what a wonderful sight.
